Making of the Draft Music Video
This is a draft music video that me and another student created:
Rihannah - Umbrella
What did I learn about?:
What did I learn about?:
Preparing and planning
- We had to learn the song lyrics, so that when we synced the words to the audio file on the editing suite, it sounded believable and correct.
- We had to consider props and the cinematography behind the concept of the music video.
Filming
- During the process of filming, we firstly needed the basics of a DV Camcorder, tripod and tape.
- While we filmed, we used a variety of shot angles and types (from close-ups to long-shots..etc).
Working with performers
- Whilst filming the performers mime to the song, the rest of the team looked away, so that the performer could feel more comfortable and relaxed - which made their miming to the song more believable.
Technology
- The technology used for filming is listed above; however, for the process of editing we used Adobe Pro to edit the footage along with the song.
